Youth Advisory Board
At Action Breaks Silence, we believe young people should not only benefit from our work but help lead it. Our Youth Advisory Board is made up of young trainers, with opportunities for exceptional Sixth Form Volunteer Trainers to progress onto the Youth Board. Members play an active role in shaping our programmes, contributing to strategy, representing the charity at external forums and ensuring that youth voices are embedded throughout our organisation. The Chair and Vice-Chair attend Board and Advisory Board meetings, while all members participate in our annual Strategy Day and act as ambassadors for Action Breaks Silence across schools, communities and local VAWG networks. Through this meaningful leadership pathway, we empower young people to become advocates, changemakers and future leaders in the movement to end violence against women and girls.
